Shogun never disappoints! The sashimi combo was incredibly fresh, melt-in-your-mouth good, and the portion size was generous for the price. The server was attentive without being overbearing, and the cozy dining area made the meal feel extra enjoyable. Definitely my go-to Japanese spot in Rutherford!

Stopped by for lunch and had the chicken katsu set—it was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and paired perfectly with the tangy tonkatsu sauce. The miso soup was warm and flavorful, and the side salad had a zesty dressing that complemented everything. Quick service and reasonable prices—will absolutely return!

The miso ramen here is a game-changer! Rich, savory broth, tender chashu pork, and perfectly cooked noodles—hit the spot on a chilly day. We also tried the takoyaki, which was crispy outside with a gooey center and topped with just the right amount of bonito flakes. Friendly staff and clean space—highly recommend!
